Branding Photographer Manchester

Rachael from Röhlig at Heathrow Airport got in touch to book a short branding shoot. Their Manchester office had been refurbished and they wanted new headshots of the staff, plus the new office interiors and some ‘at work’ photos of the team. No problem, I am a Branding Photographer based in Manchester and would love to help. There were to be around ten members of staff to be photographed as part of this Branding Photographer Manchester project. We started with this part of the project first; people were busy on calls and Teams meetings, so I had a reasonable window of opportunity to photograph them all effectively. The offices are lovely at the Manchester HQ, but there’s a lot of glass around - walls, framed pictures etc, all reflecting my lights into the camera. Ouch. With a little head scratching I opted to use a small section of glazed background as a common feature for the headshots. I thought a little abstract detail would look better than plain white or grey…

Property Photographer Manchester

As part of my photographic services to the business and corporate world, I photograph interiors - offices, homes, new builds, and renovated office space. I love photographing architecture in all its forms. After thirty minutes’ of headshots, the team went back to work, leaving me as a Property Photographer Manchester to photograph this gorgeous new office space. The weather outside was miserable and grey. No problem, I just allow the window areas to overexpose slightly, bleaching the detail out, adding more focus to the beautiful cream interior. The rooms took just under an hour to photograph as this Property Photographer Manchester was travelling light. Just a 24mm prime lens on my main commercial camera for this. But, hey…there was a bag of lenses out of shot …just in case! When working as a Property Photographer Manchester, you never know what small niggles may arise, so you need to have lens options.

Branding Photography For Your Business

I photograph a lot of businesses, replacing stock photos that normally come with the basic website design / package, with realistic, natural images. No point in showing a team gathered round a computer in California when you’re based in Manchester or Rochdale! As a Branding Photographer Manchester I love photographing people at work, in meetings or generally ‘doing their thing’ in the workplace. It looks real, natural and engages with your customers better. Do you agree? So, as part of this Röhlig project I spent a few minutes photographing the team at work live, even while they were working and munching on (hidden) sandwiches on their desks!
