Branding Photographer In Manchester
Michelle at Hiring Hub contacted me as a Branding Photographer Manchester, to produce some new branding images of the team, both as headshots plus working for their website. The brief was create some new headshots of the team using the neon HH logo in the background. These images were to be used on their website or for PR use. Michelle was first up, wanting ‘to get it over with’, but the session was just a relaxed laugh really. I used two studio flash heads on this, with one on the background, the other bounced from a 6’ x 7’ white refelctor rto create a more of a daylight feel to this otherwise dark corner. Michelle’s arm-folded pose became the bench mark for the rest of the session, hence the common ‘look’ for all the headshots. I think it works well personally, authoritative but friendly at the same time…much like Hiring Hub’s work ethos. We opted for a short headshot session against their famous green wall, then an hour or so’s photos in and around the office as their Branding Photographer Manchester.
PR Photos in Manchester
This project as a Branding Photographer Manchester was great fun. After the headshots, I turned the camera on a couple of Company Directors, shooting some relaxed and natural PR photos. I have photographed the ‘main man’ Simon a time or two before - you can see HERE. As a Branding Photographer Manchester, I approached the shoot in my natural doscumentary styele. No forced poses, or sterotypical photos from me. Nope, all relaxed and natural and photographed in minutes, all live using available light for that natural (and non stock photo) look. For the photographers out there I used a Nikon D780 on silent shutter with a 50mm lens.
Linked In Headshots
The headshots were to be featured as Linked In profile photos too, so needed to be composed with that in mind. As a Branding Photographer Manchester, I made sure each image would work as a multi-functional piece of work. Client seems happy with them at least! On some images, I deliberately left dead, or negative space on one side to allow for copy or graphics to be superimposed. My Branding Photographer Manchester role was to try to get as many images with this option, or be able to be cropped for social media to convey a different message. I work with Hiring Hub quite a lot, and they just trust me to do my thing as their Branding Photographer Manchester, creating photos for their website and social media campaigns.
