We all know David Cameron as being a former Prime Minister of the UK. According to the official Government website, David Cameron was Prime Minister from May 2010 until July 2016. David led a Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government from 2010 until 2015 and continued as Prime Minister from May 2015 leading a Conservative government. He was elected the Conservative MP for Witney in West Oxfordshire in 2001.

YPO Event in Manchester

I was contacted to photograph a YPO Event in Manchester, as an Event Photographer Manchester. The location was Manchester (I wasn’t told of the exact location until a day before the event for security reasons), where David was to be the special guest for a Q&A session. The YPO are the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation, a collection of specially chosen suppliers to business and commerce, and describe themselves as…

Midland Hotel Manchester Events

Working as an Event Photographer Manchester, this YPO event was held at The Midland in Manchester (one of my favourite wedding venues!) to a collective of delegates from across the North West and beyond. My job as an Event Photographer Manchester was to blend in with the guests as they arrived for pre-dinner drinks, then capture David meeting guests and chatting with them before dinner. NO flash was allowed at any point, which suited me as I am a low-light specialist anyway. The schedule was set, and the timings for each stage of the evening were literally bang on (time). After dinner, Anthony Preston MBE (Founder of Pets at Home) gave the welcome speech and introduced David on stage for the Q&A session, plus some funny anecdotes about being in Number 10. (Especially the emergency IKEA furniture assembly for baby Florence story - with Nick Clegg helping!)

The event went well as an Event Photographer Manchester, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I photograph conferences and events quite frequently, both in Manchester and beyond (my furthest was two days at St Andrews).
