MaxContact’s new headshots for website and branding

MaxContact

MaxContact are a Manchester-based company who produces state-of-the-art call centre technology. From simple phone and voice activated software, through to more advanced AI-powered solutions for all your online and realtime business. MaxContact create the perfect bespoke package for your business, so you can keep track of, and analyse the data on phone, sms, emails, WhatsApp, Facebook and web chat systems. It’s all very technical…but they assure me, it’s easy to install and use, and they have brilliant client support too. These clients of mine are very specialised, possibly with one of the most specialised products I have ever seen. Luckily for me though, my role as a Headshot Photographer Manchester was to photograph the key directors & staff members, so my technical limitations remain at raw converters and photo editing techniques.

New Headshots for Website & Branding

Speaking of photo editing techniques, MaxContact commissioned me to be their Headshot Photographer Manchester for their new project. Wanting to renew their existing headshots on the website, they asked me to create two versions for each person -on pink and blue backgrounds. These backgrounds form their corporate colours and MaxContact use them for all their social media and marketing media. Not only headshots, but I photographed each person in a portrait format, from the waist up - again suiting their marketing use and possibility to crop for social media too. So, for this Headshot Photographer Manchester, I lit and photographed each member of the team against a white background. This allowed me to accurately cut each person out and place them on the new digitally-produced backgrounds I had made previously (to match the originals). So, for this Headshot Photographer Manchester, my job had to be quite technical as well as authentic.

I am Manchester-based, and photograph company headshots and business portraits ‘in town’ quite regularly. As a Headshot Photographer Manchester, I get to create lots of headshot collections for my clients, be they studio-lit in the corner of an office (or even a corridor!), or with a more natural daylight looking results. We even get to photograph headshots outside on both sunny and overcast days too! We do avoid the Manchester rain though…

Lighting for headshots

I used my battery-powered studio lights for these MaxContact headshots. As a Headshot Photographer Manchester, I love these strobes. They are industrial-grade flash units I can take anywhere. At 300w each, I also have plenty of power. You can see from my phone image how I set up as a Headshot Photographer Manchester in my clients’ office. The camera was on a tripod all day, so all the framings matched for the team. The background is a simple fold out white plain area to enable me to cut the people out digitally and blend onto the blue and pink backgrounds. The main light is my favourite 130cm umbrella softbox, and makes everybody look gorgeous! Very glamorous eh?
