Hartford Church Of England High School, Northwich

Hartford CE High School is a large, eight form-entry Church of England School located in Hartford, near Northwich. And brilliantly hidden off the main road in a new-build housing estate…as I discovered whilst having a minor argument with my sat nav in my car when visiting for the first time!

“I may be biased, but our school is brilliant! We have amazing students, superb and committed staff, caring parents and an excellent Governing Board; all of whom contribute to our vibrant school community.

Our school is unique in the local area as the only Church of England High School for many miles around. You would have to go to Manchester, Chester or Warrington to find the next nearest church foundation school. We are proud to be a Church of England High School, serving the local community, determined to bring out the best in everyone we are lucky enough to educate and work alongside”.

School Photographer Manchester

The Assistant Head contacted me as a School Photographer Manchester, to create a library of images for the school website and prospectus. I am fully DBS-checked and cleared for educational venues with my work. The brief was to spend a full day at the school, capturing the daily life of the staff and pupils, covering as many lessons and activities as possible in the timescale. The emphasis was also on the new school uniform, and to feature it as much as possible. I love working as a School Photographer Manchester though, and have produced work for several academies and schools in the North West and beyond. At the time of writing I have four school projects ‘going through’ for Thrive CE Academy Trust. We photographed the students at Hartford CE School during the third week of term in September, allowing them time to settle in, whilst the uniforms were also still new! I got to produce a great variety of images for the school as a School Photographer Manchester.

School Website Photography

This project, producing photography as a School Photographer Manchester for Hartford CE School website was great fun…and hard work! As I say, we kept busy, working over two days, almost flat-out from 9am to around 4pm, to cover the after-school clubs too. I am really pleased with the results, which will stand the test of time for the school. A great investment, and a great library of photos for Hartford CE School to use for the future. As a School Photographer Manchester it was great being part of the school for the different lessons, seeing how things worked, the staff teaching, the PE lessons, arts and crafts….and THAT wonderful science lesson with the flammable methane bubbles experiment!

School Prospectus Photography

Part of the two photoshoot sessions was to produce images for the school prospectus. My brief was to just do my thing, and shoot naturally. Little of the shoot was set up in particular. I literally spent around 20 mins with each class as a School Photographer Manchester, photographing the students live, with the odd group hug and thumbs up from my subject, everything looks natural, and fun. Especially Drama, the most random improvised theatre ever using a fireman’s helmet, a telephone and some juggling bean bags.
