Headshot Photography In Manchester

As a headshot photographer Manchester, I was contacted by Arbuthnot Latham’s London office to produce some new headshots for five members of staff based in their Manchester location. The photos would be to ‘put faces to names on the website, and for LinkedIn etc’. I produce headshot photography all around the UK, but it was great to ‘nip downtown’ for a couple of hours with my travelling studio. There’s something satisfying walking through Manchester city centre as a headshot photographer Manchester with my trolley and camera bag, whilst other commuters are on their way to their offices too. When I arrived at the office, I was given a small meeting room in which to work - perfect as a headshot photography setup. It was also the room that they used last time the staff and management teams were photographed. As a headshot photographer Manchester I had a specific brief with this project. I had to match some existing staff photos, so the pose and ‘look’ had to match. We were going formal, assured and confident with the feel for these photos. We also took some happier, smiley versions too - just in case! These will filter through to social media soon…

Business Portraits In Manchester

I used my battery-powered studio lights for these business portraits in Manchester. I love them, they are small, industrial-build powerful flash units I can take anywhere. No mains cables to trip over - a Health & Safety Officer’s dream! You can see from the dodgy phone image how I set up as a headshot photographer Manchester in the small meeting room. The camera was on a tripod, so all the compositions and framings matched for the five people. The background is a fold out white plain area to throw some light onto, to create the clean look. My main light is my favourite (big) umbrella softbox, and makes everybody look gorgeous! It was such a shame I couldn’t use the funky wallpaper as a background for the shoot! Ah well, maybe next time.

Headshot Photographer Manchester

This project as a Headshot Photographer Manchester was great fun. My clients were brilliant, relaxed and smiled through all my dad jokes (some even laughed!) while we recreated new versions of photos to match the existing company profile shots. Thirty minutes to set up, with a relaxed shoot over an hour or so, I am very pleased with what we achieved. So is client. They have booked me to shoot in London for a day, to refresh all the team photos for their head office! Makes me a headshot photographer London all of a sudden….
