Simon, the CEO at Hiring Hub contacted me for some Headshot Photography Manchester, to produce some headshot and environmental portrait photos of him, as a library of images he could use for PR and social media. I’d recently photographed him and his team at their offices in the Northern Quarter, but we needed to produce something a little different, and ‘more corporate-ish"‘. With my work being mostly people and headshot photography in Manchester, I was up for the job! I travelled light, using a small speed light on a stand for lighting where required, and one of my trusty Nikon cameras with a choice of 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm lenses. For our headshot photography in Manchester session, we worked at an office in St Peter’s Square - a location Simon had previously booked in with one of his clients. This gave us a great choice of mini locations among the building, and up on the roof too, with a great view of Manchester. Headshot photography in Manchester, on the 10th floor.

We travelled light and shot a great collection of images for Simon’s PR portfolio over a session lasting around ninety minutes. He is great to work with too - very relaxed and unaffected in front of camera. Makes my life as a headshot photographer Manchester easier for sure! The photos were edited the next day and delivered via a fast download connection as he need some for trade magazines and online features. Proper PR photography, creative, live and fast turnaround.

This project as a Headshot Photographer Manchester was great fun. Just the two of us, nobody else even came near as we quietly captured setup after setup. It didn’t really feel like work being a headshot photographer Manchester one this occasion. The setups we used were all so varied and different, both creatively and technically. The little speed light was running hot though, having to battle the strong sunshine on the roof…but I gave it a few minutes to cool down and go back to sleep in the bag, while the gorgeous available light made my headshot photographer Manchester session run like clockwork.
